舊金山食記 – 這週日進城(嘿對,從南灣矽谷到舊金山就是進城)去舊金山動物園,順便去旁邊的 Sunset 區買了想很久的 Arizmendi Bakery 的 Scone 和 Mr Bread Bakery 的葡式蛋塔,我並不嗜甜和烘焙物,也完全不吃水果,平時手搖也幾乎都點無糖,所以對美國甜死人又一堆水果的甜點實在是興趣缺缺(好吧台灣的甜點也常常一堆水果…),不過還是偶爾還是會嘴饞想吃,來介紹一下吧~
🧑🍳 Arizmendi Bakery:如果搜尋 Scone in SF 一定會出現這家,是排隊名店,最好線上先點好再取餐 https://store.arizmendibakery.com/calendar,他還有每日披薩也很受歡迎,特別推薦 Oat scone,加了麥片實在超香又有口感!btw 裡面滿滿還有挑都挑不掉的焦香味葡萄乾。另外還試了週日限定的 cheese scone🧀,我只能說,scone 還是做成甜的吧!然後他家的司康真的巨無霸大,一次不能買太多lol
🧑🍳 Mr Bread Bakery:澳門甜點專賣店,主打葡式蛋塔一顆 $2,也有賣港式蛋塔一顆 $1.7,我回家只微波了 40 秒而沒有用烤箱所以酥皮有點軟,但真的好吃!尤其內餡滑嫩又奶香蛋香兼具,又不算甜,雖然還是 KFC 蛋塔最讚,但這已經很不錯了!要注意只收現金~
🧑🍳 同場加映講到舊金山蛋塔不得不提的金門餅家 Golden Gate Bakery:愛開不開超秋餅店(甚至還有Facebook 粉專叫Is the Golden Gate Bakery Open Today? https://www.facebook.com/isthegoldengatebakeryopentoday/),港式蛋塔遠近馳名,薇琪三年前某次在中國城閒晃竟然幸運地買到過一次,稍微大一點點,內餡非常滑嫩,只比蒸蛋稍微再凝固一點的口感,塔皮就港式蛋塔的餅乾塔皮很下,整體吃起來我覺得太甜、餅乾口感太扎實所以有點油膩,不過可能就是我不較不偏好港式蛋塔的關係,另外要注意也只收現金~
🐿至於你問我 #葡式蛋塔 和 #港式蛋塔 差在哪裡(有人問嗎?)?首先一個是 #葡式 一個是 #港式,再來是塔皮跟內餡的不同:
★塔皮:港塔是像鳳梨酥那種中式餅乾油酥皮;葡塔是像酥皮濃湯和可頌🥐那種層層疊的西式酥皮。
★內餡:港塔是蛋+水+糖,比較軟、像港式的燉蛋;葡塔是蛋+水+糖+牛奶+奶油🧈,比較偏布丁的口感,表面烤過會有焦糖化的黑點,我覺得更香~
